Whilst very commendable and we all want to get back to normal 6 people i.e could be only 3 cars is not enough to satisfy the members needs

Might be better to wait until we can have more cars as I think there might be a lot of unhappy bunnies who can't attend.

But if your willing to put on loads and loads of meets which will be a lot of work time and planning fair play to you all the best.

Don't forget about down South Cayman owners :ROFLMAO:

Good luck all the best. [:D]

I have been thinking about 'Mini-meets' now that up to 6 people are allowed to gather in the open, suitably distanced of course. I have tried it successfully with PCGB members I know locally and now want to see if it would work for Cayman register members, firstly in the north east where I am based.

Teesdale; Sunday 5th July, 4pm. (After the club AGM) Bring your own refreshments. We can meet up, say hello and have chat about our cars and other interests.
If you would like to join please contact me on the usual channels and I can give you the precise location. We have to keep the numbers to 6 or less.

You know I’m game John,i have some big catering flasks too that I’m happy to fill up and being along with some tea, coffee & milk if people want to bring a mug.

Just to emphasise, this is a trial of a mechanism to get something going at a local level, within the parameters under which we can operate at the moment. I am trying to encourage members to meet up with their register neighbours and strengthen the network through contact and communication. If there is a simple way of doing this that anyone can use, it will pay back when we start with the events proper.

As we discussed on the last call, I am trying to get a number of register meets around the country before the end of the year, if legislation permits. We have more or less got the south and the north of England covered, but I am still looking for contacts in other areas who are willing to help organise something on their patch. Basically local (regional) knowledge is necessary to identify and work with a suitable location or event.

Sunday is on for the select few. Emails have been sent but we have room if anyone else wishes to join the meet. This coming Sunday, 4pm, Teesdale.
