Tyre Change with Centre Locks (Recommendation)

Good Morning Folks,

I am based in West Lothian and have a 991.1 C4 GTS with centre lock wheels. I had booked into and attended a race specialist in Livingston and they could not remove the wheels due to not having the correct torque bar. I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for a local provider to change my tyres / check wheel alignment? I am keen to stay away from the national chains for obvious reasons.

Redpath Tyres might be worth a call. They are the only Pirelli Performance Centre in the East and a cut above the National chains. I've asked a pal too who has centre locks

Can't help with a suitable supplier in your area, but there's some useful info in the 991 Register forum "Members Only, Tricks and Tips" section including info on removing and refitting centre-locks.

I would second Redpath. They did a good job on my 20" Spyder wheels last year.

I can do this for you, I have a 991 Cup car here so we have the wheels on and off a lot[]. I'm in Bo'ness.

yes Redpath did my 997GTS and no problems
they do commercial stuff so have the big long torque wrenches
