Hi Pete

Thank you, but this is engineered by my fantastic assistant Ralph .... hope to see you and more Register nuts tomorrow evening.

Hi guys...thanks for the invite, I enjoyed listening in, very interesting. I'll try to join in the conversation next meeting. Zoom is new to me, tonight was my first exoerience using it, I tried to get my webcam to work without success, I suspect it's a ESET security issue as I have always blocked attemps to use the web cam in the past. I tried to unblock it but clearly failed. My IT son said he'd sort it for me so all being well I'll be able to show my face next time.

Ah you were "Pete" many thanks for explaining, I hope you enjoyed what you were able to see and hear and look forward to seeing you next time in a month or so.

There were four who joined but never spoke and had cameras off. I was near to removing them but, as we were not discussing confidential or personal material, I didn't. Whilst just listening as absolutely fine, in future I will ask all to have video and sound on or otherwise identify themselves.

If "Rachel" "R Carr" and "Cramond Perry" could pitch in here with any connection problems they had I would be grateful so that we can determine how to help them connect next time.

thanks, Ralph

I did enjoy the subject matter, very interesting and Hugh's car is a gem, Ian has clearly done a great job and I admire his 'attention to detail'. I liked the idea for next time, for each to give a brief introduction of themselves, it's a good way of getting to know each other better. I was particularly interested in the detailed answer Ian gave of why not to fit coil-overs to a Torsion-bar designed car, something that I had been considering myself, not any longer I hasten to add.

I look forward to the next zoom meet

Kind regards

Pete
