Hi everyone
I am about to conclude on a purchase of a Carrera targa from Classic Chrome in London.
- Has anyone had experience with this dealer? and
- How can I send some specialist to have it checked. I am based in Malta.
- Any contacts?
Thanks in advance

Hello Konrad, I have a couple of suggestions for you, but don't know of CC so can't help with that question. I hope you get further help from the Forum in what to do, I would suggest contacting someone like Peter Morgan - https://www.porscheinspections.com/ - to see if he can send someone out to look it over, or, try a good independent Porsche place like Steve at JAZ https://jazweb.co.uk/ they are back since the corvid-19 shut down. I have experience of both their work on Pre Purchase Inspections. You are wise to follow this route as it will give you peace of mind and identify what's good with the car and what will need doing in the future. The inspection will not be cheap, but if you think this is the car for you it will be money well spent. If CC wan't to sell the car they will oblige by getting it out to whoever you choose to help you decide. Steve

I sold my 88 targa last year and the buyer commissioned an inspection by porscheinspections.co.uk and the report was very thorough and accurate. Well worth the piece of mind especially if you're unable to view the car yourself.

In these rather difficult times , I agreed on a distance purchase of a ' well maintained, great condition etc etc ' car ( a later car admittedly). Porsche Inspections were commissioned to carry out the PPI for me. A quick verbal report after the inspection and then receipt of a most comprehensive report by email later in the day . This included many photographs of the various issues. No doubt someone will be very happy to buy the car but the report left me in no doubt that it was not for me. Definitely a recommended company.
