Anyone else put two fingers up to decorating the house and devoted your precious spare time to your beloved 997?
Here's my list of my current completed jobs:
New stereo , awesome upgrade
Swapped centre console , old one was showing its age
New tip selector surround fitted
New drivers side window switch surround fitted
Exhaust tips polished
Jobs left to complete:
I lent on my open glove box and snapped the little hook whilst refitting the centre console. I have ordered a new one from California due to the UK lockdown.
Treat my leather interior
Reproof my roof

Nice work Stephen !!!

I've got no paint anyway so yep, two fingers up to decorating.

I've washed, clayed, polished, and waxed the daily driver.
Full interior detail on the Porsche.
I've got suspension parts and stuff to clean up and protect this week.
Then the Porsche is about ready for summer.
Might re-proof the roof with 303 Convertible Fabric Guard.

Then I've got the Liquid Yellow Clio 200 to wash/clay/polish/wax.

Certainly looks like I'll be away from work for another month yet, so I'm using the time pretty much dedicated to the cars.

Awesome James, unfortunately I am still working from home for a couple of weeks, but my weekends are dedicated to my Stuttgart pleasure.

I'm rather enjoying the lack of "you need to be done by 12 as we're going shoppingseeing family etc" from my wife and can just work on the car with zero time constraints.

If the job I'm doing on the car takes 5 minutes or 5 hours makes zero difference although suspect I'll be paying back when everything returns to normal.

Hi Guys

Got up on the roof of the conservatory and cleaned all the glass

Nice Mike , I have been involved with out door activities like yours . I have a plethera of jobs on a "promise to do list" whilst to see what direction the business is taking regarding my status. Whilst waiting I am managing to polish off all my 997 jobs , I am down to the last one now, wet sanding my spot lights. I have cleaned the wife's SUV yesterday , it's only been cleaned twice in six months of ownership. I treated it to a Gyeon snow foam, bathe plus and a final wet coat. Gyeon wet coat is an awesome product, all their products are awesome. Lights to do , a couple of water spots on the frunk to remove and the jobs a good one . Then I am into the other mundane job list which includes clearing a vast amount of ivy which is growing over my garages. Stay safe everyone

Hi, The radio is a Pioneer avic 820 dab, purchased online from the car audio centre, see link below:

Stereo is excellent , sounds amazing. The only issue I cannot seem to get the WiFi Android auto working only wired (and I've got a Google phone) iPhone car play works no problem over the WiFi connection. Reverse camera berry clear.
Exhaust cleaning , very fine wire wool #000 and meguiars NXT all metal polish applied with a foam finger applicator .

Well I had to relent and even though I have worked extremely hard developing Covid measures for the business to keep our employees safe , the wife clearly thinks working from home equals DIY. So my weekends have been occupied with gardening (removing Ivy, got to return to that one, bloody birds nests) , staining and decorating. Last weekend I spent some time on the 997. I machine polished with Sonax perfect finish and protected with Gyeon cancoat. I will have to post some photos, really impressed with the coating, first time using rather than wax or sealants . It looks awesome , deep shine, gloss and ultra hydrophobic properties. Gyeon products are awesome, check then out .

Done my other car in cancoat and the Porsche in a si02 wax....cancoat in much better I’ll be stripping the wax off and cancoat on the Porsche

it’s epic
