Dear R24 Member,

Your Regional committee have had many discussions regarding the on-going health situation we all find ourselves in. From what all the experts are saying it will take many weeks or even months to be able to say we can revert to a "normal” life.
Therefore we have taken a decision to cancel both our April & May Club nights which is a direct result of Government advice about "social distancing”. We will continue to monitor what is happening and if things do not get any better quickly, which is highly unlikely, our June meeting may also have to be cancelled. This decision has not been taken lightly but it is in the best interests of us all & the people we normally associate with.
Furthermore, we will postpone both our Cars and Coffee events scheduled to take place in Bedford on Sunday 29thMarch and Sunday 17th May.
Regarding the Drive & Dine event on 25th April, this is now postponed until later in the year or when we feel confident we can run it without possibly compromising the health of you our member’s & any outside organisers.
Moving forward your Committee will put a hold on trying to arrange future events which we would have hoped to include in our events calendar in the coming weeks & months. Above all we have to be proactive in trying to do our bit to stay safe for you our Porsche family.
In summary we can only respect all the special advice which is being given by the authorities and echoed by Porsche Club GB about Coronavirus and how to keep safe. Therefore a temporary halt to all activities is a must and we wish you all the best for the coming weeks and months. We will keep you up dated by email directly and via the Club Mailchimp message service, as regards to any further changes to our overall plans.

Stay Safe and keep those cars polished !!

Edward, John, Steve & Wayne
