Octane rating query

I have had my 997 for a few months and have been using 95 octane fuel rather than 98. I know that the engine will adapt but following some discussions over the weekend I decided to move to premium. Today I put Shell V Power in and then noticed it was rated 99 octane. Is there any issue with using 99 rather than 98?
Many thanks

None at all.
Try to use higher octane fuel when available - it's a cleaner fuel and better for your motor.

You may need to run through several fill-ups before you receive full benefit from it though.

Clive

Thanks. I was told it takes the engine a while to readjust. Hopefully there will be enough time in the next couple of months to burn some fuel before we go in to Covid lockdown.
