As promised, our 2020 Clear Away the Cobwebs event, will focus on some of the more scenic driving roads we have available, to the South of our Region and will take in some of the wonderful sights and areas of outstanding natural beauty on roads such as the Stang and Buttertubs pass.

The plan is to start once again from the Cross Lanes Organic Farm & Restaurant on the A66, which will be opening especially early (from 9am) for Club members to gather and enjoy a spot of breakfast, before setting off and ends in the small market town of Masham, North Yorkshire. This year we have no return plans so from here you are free to spend as long as you wish to make the most of some of the towns many delightful eateries, or why not plan a visit to the Black Sheep Brewery meseum, or enjoy Sunday Lunch at the Swinton Park Hotel and Spa before you head home at your leisure.

For full information please register your interest here, we will then share with you the full route info along with the scheduled event start and end times.

Sorry if this creates any inconvenience but with so many people wanting to join in the R3 fun these days we have to ensure events of this nature are not just a free for all and continue to be an enjoyable member benefit. Above all, it helps us to ensure we follow strict Club and MSA, guidelines, ensuring organisers always strive to make events of this magnitude, manageable and a well policed experience for members to enjoy.

To clarify, events of this nature always tend to be extremely well attended, as such we always encourage members to savor them at a much more relaxed leisurely pace to ensure everyone attending can simply enjoy a scenic drive, on some fantastic roads with other like-minded enthusiasts.

This succesful format allows everyone to enjoy the planned route at their own pace, rather than simply adding postcodes to get from A-B as quick as possible and also offers partcipants an opportunity to stop when and where they want to take a break or grab a photo opportunity. It also eleviates the pressure on some members feeling they need to keep up with the car in front for fear of getting lost.

I’m in...although I’m over that side of the Pennines for work so will probably head south on the M6 from the run!

We are really looking forward to getting back on the tarmac.

See you there, form completed and submitted.

John & Gillian

Greg and Debs please count me in but I can't fill in the form as my computer has Fire walls that won't let me into the link.

Form completed Deb & Greg. Hopefully Rita can make it hip willing.

We will get there around 10:30ish to allow more time for the run then we can get back for the dogs.
