Once again Tim and his team have kindly offered R3 club members the use of their workshop facilities. The format will follow previous open mornings and with a limited number of pre-booked slots available, as usual they filled up fast. These open mornings have become a favourite at OPC Teesside, all of the team really look forward to spending the morning with Club members, looking at and chatting about everything Porsche. As always the bacon butty shop has been put on stand-by. If you haven't managed yet to make it to one of these mornings before, or are a little apprehensive as to what to except, please feel free to speak to some of the other club members who often come along to while away a few hours in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, who will tell you its always a great social event and great chance to find out more about what OPC Teesside can offer us all, regardless of the age of your car. Even if you haven't managed to secure a place for your vehicle, you are still more than welcome to come down and enjoy the fantastic club atmosphere which these mornings always generate.

We do ask that if you have had your car on a ramp at a previous workshop morning that you allow others the same opportunity by not asking for another slot.

May I also remind everyone involved due to coronavirus fears, events of this nature unfortunately may be subject to change at short notice so keep a close eye on the forum.

I’ll come down for the run out But not bothered about getting up on the ramps as I got a report the other week when I was in the workshop.

I’d go as far as to say that if you haven’t been to a club event before (and, like me, can’t make it to the monthly meeting) then this is a great opportunity to come along and introduce yourself. Find out a bit more about the club and enjoy some general (mostly Porsche related) chat.

I'd be interested in this not so much to have my car inspected as I've just had a lot of work done so everything is fine, but would be good to say hello as I'm new..

Thanks

Rhys

I’m sure you will be very welcome, Rhys. I’ve seen some of your posts so it will be good to put a face to the name!

With the government instructing all bars, restaurants, café and theatres to close it is clear the Coronavirus situation is becoming more serious by the day.

As it will always be our number one priority to ensure the safety of both our staff and customers alike, I have taken the decision to postpone the upcoming workshop open morning and classic register breakfast.

We will reschedule both events once things get back to normal, but for now, please all take care, stay safe and well

Tim
