Hi there, just to let you all know we are once again running the popular Blyton Park Track Day on Friday 22 May 2020. This is an official PCGB Track Day at a super venue, and a great price (sorry for all the superlatives!). We have some details on our region's page HERE.

Bookings are NOT via the Clubs Track Day Page but on the Regions and Registers page HERE

We look forward to seeing some of our regulars back again - any questions about the day just e-mail r4@porscheclubgb.com

Isn’t Blyton Park a strict 95db driveby policy ?

Only reason I ask I`d like to do a track day there but worried about being black flagged soon as i go out

Yes Blyton's noise levels are 95dba drive by at 20m. A self-calibrating microphone is permanently sited 20m from the edge of the circuit, close to the start-line on the exit of “Twickers” corner at the Eastern extremity of the Outer Circuit.

I am not sure what you drive, but we've run the Track Day there for the last 6 years or more with this noise policy. We've had GT3RS's, GT3's and GT4's, as well as Turbo's and there is not usually an issue with them. The only cars I can recall having an issue were a couple running after market exhaust systems , i.e. non Porsche. The number of cars with noise issues has been very low over the years, and the circuit has previously had a chat with the owners to see if there is any way they can comply.

I hope this reassures you. I am expecting the booking page to be loaded very soon to the track day page. There are some more details about the day on the R4 events page HERE. It is a nice, relaxed, well received event at a great venue, and our instructors are even sponsored, so there is no extra charge for using them, and i hope we'll see you there.

Hoping to make this year, was hectic last year and away racing.

Can anyone confirm whether the second driver needs to be a PCGB member? I'd like to give my friend a few laps in my car (with an instructor...)

Embarrassingly, the 997 only did the trip to the MOT station last year, and has sat waiting patiently in the corner since. The Boxster never even made the MOT station...

I was at Blyton yesterday (morning only) and would like to thank everyone involved in pulling the day together.

Covid measures meant a slightly unusual format with no instructors, passengers etc but there were basic facilities in place and we were rewarded with a very quiet day, good weather and driving standards plus a good mix of cars etc.

Well worth it and nice to see so many familia, friendly faces. Thanks again.
