Postponed visit with Listers Porsche Hull.

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]I am sure it won't come as a surprise with the current Covid-19 pandemic that some events will be affected.[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"]Sadly I have just received a call from Porsche Hull to say they have had to postpone all their events for the foreseeable future, this includes the dealership launch and of course the club visit. [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"]They have apologised for the decision and are deeply disappointed they are unable to proceed with their planned events.[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"][strike]Due to the huge response for this visit and the clash with Mothers Day, the trip to Listers has had to be rescheduled.[/strike][FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"][strike] [/strike][FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"][strike]19th April 2020.[/strike][FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"][strike] [/strike][FONT=verdana,geneva"][strike] [/strike]
[strike]Listers Porsche have very kindly offered ninety members from the R4 and R7 an opportunity to visit the new dealership in Hull on the 19th April, 9:00 for 9:30am.[/strike]
[strike] [/strike]
[strike]They are very pleased with the level of interest shown by members of the Porsche club and have generously provided catering for breakfast on the day. It is also hoped that a professional photographer will be on hand if anyone is interested in having photographs of their car.[/strike]

[strike]We will have further details shortly, R7 has reached the allocation of 45 members wishing to visit and any additional names will be placed on the reserve list.[/strike]

[strike]Listers do not initially plan to open on Sundays, this is a special event for the club and we are sharing the visit with Region 4.[/strike]

Thank you for your support, sadly we have exceeded our allocation and I have started the reserve list, we will not have any spaces from the R4 allocation as they have twenty waiting on a reserve list.

If for any reason you are unable to attend please inform me as soon as possible so the reserves can be notified.

Listers do not initially plan to open on Sundays, this is a special event for the club and are happy to accommodate approximately fifty to sixty members on the day and we are sharing that number with Region 4.

For those that want to make a day of it, we have organised a breakfast get together at the Waterwheel in Howden, Selby Road, Howden, Goole DN14 7JP, arriving for a leisurely breakfast around 09:30.

From the Waterwheel it is a short drive, (21 miles), around half an hour to Listers where members will have a chance to tour the facilities, refreshments will be available.

Any members that do not wish to attend the breakfast can of course head directly to Listers for 12:00.
