Mileometer just stopped working ...

Gents, I can see from prior postings (a few years old) that Julian Reap at Reap Automotive was the man to call to sort this out for me.

I just wanted to check if this is still the case, or whether things had changed / there were any other options.

Many thanks, Shane.

I was very happy with the service from Highlift Productions but just checked on ebay & he seems to have moved from London to Canada. There is also JDO in Keighley.  If you look on 911uk some chaps have done there own repair.  You need to take it apart & replace a plastic cog, but there are two types with different numbers of teeth.  It looks fiddly so I chickened out & left it to an expert.

Thanks everyone for the speedy replies on this.  Don't think I have the time (or risk appetite) for the DIY, and so will call Julian as he is fairly local.

Many thanks, Shane.

Just by way of update, I drove down to see Julian a few weeks ago and he fixed my mileometer while I waited.  Excellent service, and Julian is a really nice man - I could have spent hours talking to him about his background and his car parked in front of his house!
