Enjoy a nostalgic R10 European Weekend Of The Year tour to the ancient southwestern French town of Angouleme, where every September, it is filled with racing enthusiasts for the historic Circuit des Remparts, the annual gathering of vintage and classic cars.

On this exciting trip, from Thursday 17th to Tuesday 22nd September you will enjoy a 600+ mile two-day drive there in your Porsche, arriving in Angouleme on the Friday; we will view the historic car rally and have leisure time on Saturday, watch the racing from grandstand seats on the Sunday, and start for home the next day.

The number of hotels in the Angouleme area is extremely limited, so if you wish to come along, you should book now to avoid disappointment, as the hotel rooms must be reserved urgently.

If you wish to take part, email me as soon as possible, whether or not you are one of many that have expressed firm interest or not. I have much more detailed information on this fantastic experience to share with you, once I hear of your interest.

Please indicate your intentions urgently by replying to this post on the forum, and also emailing me at mark.grimwood1@btinternet.com, ensuring that I have your telephone number for further contact.

For anyone attending this week’s R10 regular meeting at the Sharnbrook Hotel, there will be further information for you on this great trip.
