Hi. The sat nav in my 997.2 suddenly disappeared with just the message ‘navigation unavailable’ with no map showing and nothing available on Navi tab either. Everything else on PCM is fine - phone/radio etc. Any thoughts On what night cause that - and remedies? Thanks in advance.

Often GPS antenna connection fault. has windscreen been replaced?
Try disconnecting battery and wait a couple of minutes then reconnect. You will get a PSM fault displayed, which will reset after a short drive.
DO NOT perform a factory reset as this will lose all software and map updates, which your OPC will charge for again!
Some people report faults of this nature miraculously self healing, good luck.

thank you! No windscreen change involved - so I’ll try disconnecting the battery as suggested and see if that might do the trick! Here’s hoping...

Battery disconnect/reconnect and 50 mile run tried but sadly no recovery of navigation. if the gps had become inadvertently disconnected (although not sure how as no windscreen work has been done) is there anything else I could check? thank you.
