[FONT=calibri"]Belated New Year Greetings to all R18 members. It was good to meet so many of you at the New Years Day Cars & Coffee and the Cornerhouse, Wrightington. As usual the car park was full to capacity by 9.00 and many cars had to park on the adjoining roads. It was good to see so many Porsches, several of which we had not seen before. In addition there was a good selection of sports and classic cars with one or two veterans. A fullish report will be in March Porsche Post

[FONT=calibri"]Sunday 12th January – Cars & Coffee, Chung Ku Restaurant, Riverside Drive, Columbia Quay, Liverpool, L3 4DB. (.00 to 12.00. Get there by 9.00 to get a good parking space. There are usually over 350 interesting, and exotic, sports and classic cars present. Check out the Facebook page for more information
[FONT=calibri"]Wednesday 15th January – Monthly Meeting – Garstang Golf Club. R18 members and internationally famous photographer Sean Conboy, will be talking us through the entries for the R18 Photographic Competition. The winning entries have been made up into the R18, 2020 Calendar. For those of you who have ordered these calendars I should have them with me. Cost £10.00 each.
[FONT=calibri"]Sunday 19th January – Cars & Coffee, Phantom Winger, Fulwood Preston. Again a turnout of around 200+ cars usually attend these events. You need to be there by 8.30 to get a space on the car park. Check out Preston Supercar Meet website and Facebook, to check on date/time.

[FONT=calibri"]Moving into February Alan Ridehalgh has organised another ‘Chippy Tea’ at the Crow Wood, Burnley., BB12 0RT on 7th February. We had a recent visit and the food and facilities are excellent. Fish & Chips for 2 is £12.95.
