Can anybody please tell me what Component ID $01 & 04 relate too. I’ve not got any trouble codes or CEL but found these when I did a routine check with my code reader?

Component Id $01TID $03 - Manufacturer Defined5558N/A Fail
Component Id $04TID $03 - Manufacturer Defined5558N/A Fail

Found this on Rennlist

Mode $6 is always manufacturer specific so google with find false translations for other brands. The Porsche DME7.8 definitions: TID:$03 Secondary Air System (SAI) CID:$01 - Secondary air system, bank 1 Relative secondary air mass CID:$04 - Secondary air system, bank 2 Relative secondary air mass

"The relative secondary air mass is the measured secondary air mass relative to the expected nominal value (optimal value) in this operating point. The optimal value is detected with a faultless system. The nominal value is primarily dependent on exhaust backpressure, geographical altitude and voltage supply. A fault is present if the relative secondary air mass does not exceed the diagnosis threshold value. The values displayed can be multiplied by the factor 0.0078 to find the applied values."

I'm in no way an expert in things like this.

But this might be helpful

FAULT SYMPTOMS IN THE EVENT OF FAILURE: SYMPTOMS
Increased emission values during the cold start and warm-up phases can be caused by a lack of post-combustion. The catalytic converter only reaches its operating temperature at a later point. Secondary air systems which are monitored by the engine control unit's self-diagnosis function, cause the engine indicator lamp to illuminate in the event of faults.

CAUSES OF A FAILURE: CAUSE OF FAILURE
A faulty pump is generally the most frequent cause of the system failing. Ingress of moisture can cause damage which results in seizure of the pump. Faulty ground and voltage supply can also cause the pump to fail. Blocked or leaking lines can also cause the failure or malfunction of the control or combination valve, resulting in the failure of the secondary air system.

👍

I’m booked in for a service and MOT next week so I’ll get it checked out on a PWIS and hopefully sort it out. 😁
