To get this section of the forum rolling I thought I would share the email exchange we admin have just had regarding the creation of the Taycan forum

Hi All

Finally got the go ahead from the RD for the Taycan part of the forum. No moderators as yet as they have yet to appoint an RS.

In the meantime it’s us.

Cheers,

Peter

I replied
Do we know any electricians who would volunteer for RS?

It is a pretty high power position. They are going to need a switched on live wire to do the job as it is far from plug and play. Just as well, in these days of political correctness, there is no discrimination between AC or DC so anyone who identifies with whatever they like can apply. Obviously they need to understand the importance of being neutral though to avoid any surge of charged emotion on the forum.

Don't give up the day job, John, you might get a shock.....

But I was always considered a bright spark at school. I can see how I might experience some resistance in the current climate, but being somewhat remote I am reasonably well insulated.

Don't you think it's time to bring this back down to earth? Or is it time to pylon more puns? I think I have found a female candidate - Anna Dapter.

If only we had enough capacity in the club, but I guess we could integrate some through an induction process.

That humour is shocking!
Thought i'd get it in before some bright spark adds to network...........bringing it down to earth: good luck, i'm sure the position will be illuminating for them.
