My first Porsche!

Congratulations Smiffie, what a fantastic looking car. Love the GT3 body kit and the wheels do look great against the wrap. Great spec. I bet you can't wait for the drive home!

Hi!
New member, first post.. My first Porsche! =D So after finding my lust for a Porsche had become too strong, and after plenty of research and browsing the classifieds.. Wednesday of this week saw me have one of the most exciting "car days" to date! =)

Seeing this car in the classifieds I just had to go and view it.. And then the moment I saw it in the flesh/metal for the very first time sat proud in the showroom alongside some very serious motors(!) I just knew I had to have this 2000 996 911 Carrera 2!

Spec includes:
Graphite Grey full leather with red stitching + seat belts in Guards Red
Alcantara steering wheel
Factory fitted aero kit + sports exhaust
Ohlins road and track adjustable suspension
997 short shift
PSM, sunroof, cruise control, climate control
[4x brand new] Bridgestone S02A tyres

I can't wait to pick it up next week!!
The colour is a wrap 'Fir Green' (the car is Meridian Silver metallic underneath) which I think looks great against the Gold GT3 wheels
Hope you like too and thanks for looking!

Hi James. And a very warm welcome to 996 ownership, They are fantastic cars and excellent valve at the moment. I do like the colour combination, I bet you can't wait to pick it up. Keep us updated and Enjoy. Andy

Hopefully the car should soon see some track time over in Germany too =)
