Hi

At the South Yorks club night last week Pete Jones and I aranged to drive over to Oulton for the Gold Cup on 26th August (Bank Hol Monday).

If anyone wants to join us I am suggesting we meet at Morrisons Car Park at Halfway at 8.15am. Plan to go over to Buxton then across Wildboarclough as an interesting route.

Hi Phil

We are unable to join you all unfortunately would have loved to attend but no dog sitters. Hope you have a great day.

Regards

David and Jayne.

Hi Phil
I‘m going on Monday but it isn’t really practicable for me to drive to Sheffield from Birstall. I considered suggesting meeting up with you in Buxton but that would complicate things unnecessarily without much gain for anyone. I may as well go the unattractive motorway way and meet you there. Tickets for the PCGB parking area had all been sold by the end of July and I was too late so i’ll Have to park in the public parking area. I’ll bring a huge roll of bubble wrap to fasten around my car lol.
i look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Update on my last post.
Adam Carey and I are going to Oulton and since we’re travelling from different locations we’ve arranged to meet at The Dog and Partridge, S36 4HH at 8.20. We could meet up with those traveling from Halfway, at 9.10/9.15 in the car park of Morrison’s, Buxton SK17 9TB and do the rest of the journey together. Please let us know if you’re happy with what I’ve suggested.

Anyone else is of course very welcome to join us.

Roger
