Hello Simon - must be near neighbours (see my user name). I'm relatively new to the PCGB too, was wondering which other members live nearby. Have a Meteor Grey 987.2 Cayman btw.

Keep meaning to go to one of the NW Region meetings, but (story of my life) haven't quite got round to it yet.

Hi Simon and Ivan, welcome to Region 5. The region put on a lot of events throughout the year, we have a new members night coming up on the 14th August at the Deanwater Hotel near Wilmslow, where you would be welcome to join us. I believe the club are putting on some supper as well.

We have one of our best supported regional events of the year coming up, the historic Gold Cup event over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and although I think that the members rate tickets at £10 may have sold out, you can still buy the usual price tickets direct from Oulton Park. In addition to this, if driving is your thing we run a Saturday morning drive WhatsApp group which has become very popular. We also do loads more, so why not come and join us on the 14th to find out more, I hope to see you soon.

Yes I'm just the other side of Cheddelton and can often be found driving through Leek to Buxton and beyond on those great roads past the Cat and Fiddle.

Thank you for your warm welcome.

I'm planning on coming to hopefully the next mid week meet in Wilmslow for an introduction to fellow members.

I am very interested in the WhatsApp group and Saturday runs as I'm often going on runs with the Boxanet clan.....not been able to come on any R5 runs thus far due to being over subscribed ...so would be very interested to find out more about the Saturday runs.

Hopefully get a chance to meet up soon.
