We are planning a breakfast meet and leisure drive for Sunday July 21st.

Breakfast and start venue will be the Flight Deck Café in the control tower at Turweston Aerodrome near Brackley that many of you will already be familiar with.

Breakfast menu will be available from 0900 hrs onwards followed by a run of approximately 75 miles through parts of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire on a variety of mainly decent and interesting roads!

The route information will consist of simple tulip diagrams with additional information where appropriate to facilitate regaining the route should anyone venture a little "off piste”. For anyone not confident with tulip diagrams I will be available at the start to provide assistance.

Maps 151 and 152 (OS Landranger 1:50000 series) will be required and a small magnifying glass may come in handy.

The route will return you to Turweston potentially around lunchtime but it is not necessary to report to the finish and the route information will include some other possible coffee/tea/ lunch stops.

The whole event is intended to be informal and non-competitive but for catering purposes it would be helpful to let me know well in advance if you intend to come along. Please e-mail me at fozziemj@btinternet.com
