Modified GT4 ...

Thanks Des,

Sorry to send people off to Pistonheads ... the car is every bit as good as I had hoped it would be and I'm starting to be surprised that my tyre wear appears to be reducing ... I also estimate the car is 3dB quieter ... which is good.

This improvement in tyre wear could be because I continue to take tuition from Howard Hunt and Richard Ellis ... and turning in a little earlier and more gently is certainly increasing my corner speeds and seems also to be delivering on the tyre wear (as Howard said it would).
It appears to reduce the heat in the tyres ... helping to compensate for the better cooling of the brakes into the hub carriers and wheels and tyres ... but it may also be that we are reaching a happier balance between Caster and Camber ...

I'm at Knockhill on Saturday and Croft a week today (Wednesday) ...

Thanks Chris

Will we see you 21st Sept RPM ?

Come on, Chris! You know you want it, too. I´ll be there also; would be good to see you again.

Cheers,

Hacki

P. S.: The Cup car is still with me, same condition as it was when you took all the pics.

Hello Hacki ! A long time no speak !!
'Had a fab day at Knockhill ... with in my mind, the challenge of the time set by a certain very well known driver in the new 718GT4 at the press launch a few weeks ago !
I had fitted MPilotSuperSports in readiness for the rain that was forecast so had to accept the loss of 1.5 to 2 seconds in this choice over MPSCup2's in the dry. I was therefore very pleased to get into the .58's with Steve (my Brother in Law) sitting in the passenger seat !

Saturday the 21st is as yet unplanned ... I'm at Oulton Park on the 20th ... but which RPM ? The one in Knaresborough ?
