Yorkshire Classic Vehicle show - Spring Bank Holiday Monday 27th May 2019

Hi Matt
Congratulations on the purchase of your first Porsche and on entering the world of Porsche passion. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem as though members are supporting that event. I haven’t heard anyone talking about it at club nights. I hope you enjoy the day.
Some of us were driving in the dales today and have a lot of cleaning to do, it was wet until lunchtime and my 996 has 133 miles worth of dirt on it. I enjoyed the drive and cleaning is all part of the fun (I think lol).
I and other members look forward to meeting you and your car, perhaps at one of the club nights. Where do you live?
I organise The North West ‘100’ a touring event following a route of about 100 miles, starting from Beckwithshaw on 9th June. If it’s of interest please use the forum post to provide your details. If you do that by 31st May you will be listed in the road book.
If I can be of help to you don’t hesitate to contact me.
Best regards
Roger

I did see that Thread, I’ve always wanted to go out and drive those roads but I was already committed to a family birthday event

I live in Normanton on the outskirts of Wakefield.

Unfortunately ( Or fortunately ) I’m on holiday until the 16th of June but all be back in time for the summer bbq and the Yorkshire Porsche festival!

When I’m back I’ll have to get down to the club nights in the week.

Thanks

Matt

Never mind, we’ll meet up sooner or later. I’ll be on holiday when it’s the BBQ. I‘m sure you’ll be welcomed but do make yourself known, especially to anyone wearing a grey Yorkshire CoG (Co-ordinators Group) tee-shirt or a name badge. We issue name badges to any member who requests one, usually at club nights, so that at club nights etc. it makes it easier to meet others, especially for people with a dreadful memory for names, like me!

In the meantime enjoy your Porsche.
Best regards
Roger
