Help Oil level low warning light indicator

I am new here. Have a 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S. It’s burning oil. Anyways I got the low oil level indicator light that popped up. It Kinda lined up with me needing an oil change anyways. I took it to the mechanic and they drained the old oil, changed the filter and filled it up with new oil. I am still getting the low oil level warning indicator light. How can I get this to go away? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

It sounds as though there's a fault with the oil level sensor, which would be confirmed by a diagnostic check.

Take it either to a Porsche dealership or a reputable Porsche independent who has the necessary PIWIS - or equivalent - diagnostic equipment.

OK see oil level mysteriously fixed itself after my post. What I did was Drive while being in the vehicle/oil level menu. Now it’s back to normal. These cars are weird. Thanks for your help I may need some more in the near future.

Best to check your Driver’s Manual for the correct procedure for checking oil level. I run a Cayman which requires the engine to be at idle for the oil level check, but your Panamera probably will be different.

I have experienced that in the past after Oil Service. After a drive it usually just resets the green bars itself.
