For information

Those of you who have the 992, there is problem since last week with Porsche connect in regards to trip recorded data on Porsche connect. All other functions are working. I have been on the phone to Porsche connect and the IT are working on the fix.

Oh good........as last week my son queried why it had taken me 50 miles to go and fill up with fuel.....[:D]

at last Porsche Connect in Germany have found the problem I reported last May to the fault on the PCM communications to the web portal and the Porsche connect app;

Here is the reply I received this morning, the fix will not be implemented until august/October.

Not quite Tesla 'over the air' speed of software update, but welcome nonetheless. Well picked up Huw.

Have just picked the car up after it got the latest update to fix this. It appears that at last this functionality is now working

After 20 months of ownership and dozens of messages to Porsche connect, the fault on the remote readings of trip informations on the earlier 992 has been rectified. As in my previous threads, the correct information only showed when the PCM was changed to KPM from MPH.

The car needs to visit the Porsche centre to update the software to
SW0215
SY169/20

Not bad for a ticket that has been open 20 months.
