I am afraid on my new 992 which is only a few days old with less than a hundred miles on the clock has developed a starting problem, with the error "engine fail to start" error, once car has started occasionally goes to power reduction mode.
The fault has been diagnosed as an engine fly wheel sensor.
The car is back at the centre waiting for the spare sensor.
I have been informed the part number for the sensor has been changed and a bulletin notice served from Porsche to this effect. I am beginning to wonder if there was a problem with the original part and thats why Porsche have changed it.
I look at it, with a. new model there is bound to be teething problems, it will be intetresting to find with time if there has been other 992 experienced the same problem.
I have been told the part will arrive on Monday, so now 992 less for a few days, with a borrowed Macan.??
