Wednesday, 17 April Monthly meeting - Garstang Golf Club
7.45pm. Our planned speaker, Tim Dryburgh from Leyland Valeting Services, has just cancelled. Tim would have been talking about his business valeting Formula 1 cars, as well as some exhibits at Silverstone Classic and other race meetings.

Thursday, 18 April Classic Car Early Evening EventBridge House Farm Tea Rooms
Located in Wray, near Kirkby Lonsdale from 6.30pm onwards. About 100 sports and classic cars meet up at these events for an informal chat. There is usually an excellent BBQ also available. Many entrants leave early to have a run through areas such as the Trough of Bowland.

Sunday, 21 April (Easter Sunday) Annual Classic Car Breakfast meeting – Shackleton’s Garden Centre at Chatburn near Clitheroe.
9.30am to 1pm. You need to pre-book to get on the car park. Contact Lisa Fothergill, Lloyd BMW and Mini. Telephone 01282 720720 ASAP to book. You can also park on the main road through Chatburn and walk into the car park.

Sunday, 5 May Donnington Historic Race Meeting
Many R18 members are going to this event. A ticket discount code can be found HERE - please book by April 28 to take advantage of discounted entry and display parking. We will be leaving Charnock Richards Services at 7.30am to travel together. We need to be at the circuit by 10am to be able to get onto the PCGB in Infield Display.

Sunday, 5 May - Breakfast meeting - The Cornerhouse Wrightington
Arrive 8.30am to get on car park.

Monday, 6 May (Bank Holiday) Classic Car Show – Gawsworth Hall Near Macclesfield. Region 5 are organising the attendance. Pay on the gate.

Sunday 12 May Drive and lunch
Meet at Truck Haven, Carnforth 10am. The drive will finish with lunch at the Gilpin Bridge, near Grange at about 1pm. There are plenty of places locally to visit after lunch. If you are interested please email Gareth on gareth.patterson@lineone.net so he can arrange sufficient space a for lunch.

Over 700 Porsches are expected at this major event. Please let me know if you are planning to attend and we can arrange a suitable meeting point to travel down together.

Sunday, 19 May Cumbria International Show, Kendal

Monday, 27 May (Bank Holiday) Mawdesley Classic Car Show Mawdelsy near Chorley. I have arranged Porsche parking, so please let me know if you are planning to attend, so we can get suitable space. There is a scenic drive in the morning if anyone is interested. See classiccarevents.uk for more info and download an application form.

Sunday, 11 August - The Red Rose Run
This is R18’s major event. We will be starting at the new Porsche Centre Preston and finishing at Stonyhurst College, near Clitheroe, where a classic car show is also running. Please contact me ASAP for an entry form as places are strictly limited this year. I have already had entries from previous entrants.
