There was a slight error in April's Porsche post.
I should have made it clear that as of 8th of April It will only be the Mk1 996s that will be affected by London's new ULEZ regulations.
Enjoy the ride all

That's odd. A Mk1 C4 with DME7.2 is Euro 2, so way below the Euro 4 requirement for petrol cars.

UK Mk1s with mechanical throttle aren't even OBD2 compliant, so I don't know how they are rated.

Even more odd. I just looked up my brother's (long since departed) March 1999 C4, and it shows as being subject to the charge.

Hi Richard
Just a thought was the secondary air pump introduced on any 3.4s prior to the 3.6

I thought it was just another government balls up.
But I'd forgotten it was only the last of the 3.4 that got the sai fitted making them so much more eco friendly and clean just like the vw Passat.
Oh no, they aren't that's a lie too, but it's on the v5 so they'll pass ulez too.

Remember ulez is a tax on emissions just incase anyone had forgotten.

Makes me want to remove it just for the irony.

Boring story, but:
Ever since Audi had the A3 in for Cam-belt change, the Stop/Start stopped working. They said it wasnt them and is a sensor fault. Possible, but worked fine till they had it. Anyway, it's always irked my neighbor who has a Q3 with the same engine, who pays 130 i think road tax, and I pay 30 (maybe 40 now) mines lower because of the stop/start, but his irony in it all was mine no longer works lol. Winds him up no end. So yes, remove away any parts I say :)

Hello Andy,

Just for info, the correction in PP may edition is still incorrect.
It's not all mk1's it's some mk1's just to muddy the water. LOL
Third print!

Hi Richard
Yes as mentioned above, unfortunately Mays copy was sent off late March prior to the above.
