992 at Porsche Centre, Aberdeen

Called in to OPC Aberdeen on other business earlier this week and found two 992 models already in the showroom ahead of the official launch. A few photos to share ...

Great photos Paul. I like it generally but not keen on those folding flaps in the air intake at the front...just more to go wrong. It also seems very vertical at the back around the rear apron.
 
I had similar thoughts Andrew. Apparently they open/close to control air flow for the turbo. The agate grey model shows them fully open, while one of the the crayon model snaps was taken after the engine had been running for several minutes and the flaps are partially closed. I was told this system is also used on the 991.2 (same turbo engine?) but it's not something I was aware of until now.
