April is starting to get busy. The British Ironwork Centre visit was suggested by Lesley Dyke and this is a copy of the details that she received in reply to Lesley's enquiry.

We need to meet at the Centre at midday, there will be a dedicated parking area for R9 members cars and a dining area set aside for our party. It will be a set menu at £11.00 per person including two drinks (menu shown in the Comments). Ordering from the set menu is not necessary.

"When arriving by car, we would appreciate if you could all gather at the front of our showroom and inform a member of staff that you are ready for your welcome talk.

Meet the artist
Meet the artist gives your members the chance to meet our resident artists and watch them at work. However please note there may be times when the artisans are unavailable due to factors such as experience bookings, sickness, or adverse weather – however we will always do our very best to ensure there are artists available on the day.

For your visit a member of our team will be your dedicated host. They will welcome you on arrival and will be your point of contact throughout the visit. They will provide you with a map of the site explaining to you where all of the Ironworks attractions are so you and your group can explore at your own pace. They will be based inside our showroom should you have any questions or queries during your visit.

Café
Our café is available all day, we serve an array of home-made sandwiches, quiches, pies, jacket potatoes scones and cakes. You can see our menu on our website here https://www.britishironworkcentre.co.uk/media/BIC-Cafe-Menu-2018.pdf specials are available each day and can vary.
