R3 Gibson Motorsport Visit. 2nd Feb & 2nd March.

In 2018 we were extremely lucky to visit Gibson Motorsport, Spawells, Low Dinsdale, Darlington DL2 1PL.

Our members who attended last year were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience, which included the opportunity to try your hand in their racing simulator and a tour of their awesome workshop facilities and race cars.

Paul & Dan Gibson both have a formidable winning record and history in Motorsport, are more than happy to share their stories if you ask them, as they proudly show you around. This experience is exclusive to R3 members and will be on a first come first served basis. However as numbers were limited last year too, I will be prioritizing those members who missed out last year first.

So don't delay, get your name down regardless, you may be one of the lucky ones should there be any spaces left. The remaining spaces will (if any) be made available to R3 members who would like to be considered to revisit Gibson Motorsport.

This year we have organised two dates to try and make it easier to plan for everyone. The first open morning will run on the 2nd February, followed by the 2nd March.

Only 16 spaces will be available for each visit where the groups will be split in two, to make them much more manageable and a better experience. The first group will be scheduled to arrive for a 9.00am start and the second for a 10.30am start on both occasions. We hope by doing it this way it will give everyone a better opportunity to try their hand on their awesome simulator.

This year I have agreed to cover their costs and the visit will be priced at a bargain price of £10.00 per person, payable on the day, which is extremely good value and will include a breakfast roll on arrival and refreshments.

Please email me at r3@porscheclubgb.com with your preferred choice of date if you would like to attend, and I will add you to the list. Remember this will be first come first served, so don't delay.

Hi Greg,

Sounds interesting! Would love to come along if there is a place available, please.

Gordon.

Morning Gordon, sadly spaces are all now full, although I do have a reserve list which I can add you to if you wish.

2nd Feb visit has been postponed due to the weather and the state of the roads to Gibson's premises.

Rearranged for 16th March
