Can anyone please suggest places I can advertise the car for sale, preferably free, or any organisations that buy second hand Porsche of this vintage?

Thanks

Hi Ed,

For Free, there's GumTree, or Facebook selling pages, but I don't know how successful you'll be or maybe you'll get a lot of time wasters. The For Sale Forum section here would be a good place also, especially if you've looked after it and can use the forum post to include lots of detail and a pic or two.

As for dealers of the vintage, I'd suggest mileage and overall condition may be taken into consideration before maybe a dealer may look at it, but there's no clue of any in your post ([:)]) It's worth a look online for any local specialist near you who may know of someone looking for their first 911, and may be a place to start too. Always who, not what you know. Not knowing where you are, I can't suggest any for now.

Paid for, AutoTrader, Piston Heads (not sure if there is a charge) eBay!!!!! and there's a selling section as part of PCGB on here as well.

If you are after a good price, for a good car that's been looked after, you may want to try a paid for ad to maybe weed out any time wasters, IMO.

Thanks for replies

Missing info, I should have supplied:

Mileage is 88K
Condition - external: good - a few bumps, but no damage visible other than a little crazing on close inspection
internal: average I guess considering age - a couple of bits of plastic trim missing, not really very noticeable - leather of driver's seat is quite worn looking and scratches on passenger seat.
Location: Cheltenham

Thanks for suggestions - any further ones welcome.

Ed
