Wish I’d had a look at this forum before i allowed the OPC to do an upgrade to my Macan SD
ecu. As it was a completely different car that they returned to me.
lost all off its pleasure to drive and feels flat and hesitant when trying to pull away at junctions / roundabouts etc.

IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION, DO NOT LET THEM REPROGRAM YOUR ECU, IT UTTERLY RUINS THE CAR.

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I'm going.

I know exactly how you feel.

We are still in dialogue with our OPC trying to find a resolution - potentially a swap.

If we are not happy with the resolution offered by the OPC we will be logging this with the Motor Ombudsman.

I would recommend you do the same. It’s more likely to be taken seriously by Porsche if several complaints are logged.

I escaped having the upgrade done, on a few occasions. But when I extended my warranty, the OPC at Bristol said, all upgrades must be completed to extend it. So even against my willingness to have the upgrade, it had to be so done.

When was your update done?

I’ve just had a call from them saying there’s another update which might have been released to address the performance... (though they couldn’t confirm).

It might be worth checking whether there’s another update available.

I will be test driving one of their cars next week that has had this update carried out to see whether or not the drive is better. If it is, I’ll have it applied to mine.
