I am currently restoring a 1979 911 SC. This part is no longer available, so does any one know where I might get one - I only need the rear half of it (ie the part that is in the engine bay) as forward of the rear window is sound. I have checked a 964 part that is available, but too may differences. Does anyone out there have a NOS or good second hand part?

In the past I've had bits from Douglas Valley breakers yard (NTDWM), they regularly advertise in the Porsche Post, 01257 472866.
Hope this helps, good luck with the restoration.

A while back I heard about suppliers supplying non-Porsche panels. They were cheaper than official Porsche bits. Some folks on the forum were a bit sniffy about them and some said the fit wasn’t as good but I guess if the official source has dried up, these would be better than no part at all? Can’t remember who they were talking about but probably worth you googling it. Pelican maybe?

I guess it’s a sign of the times as all this old stuff gets used up. I can foresee a unique and extremely rare set of genuine 911 impact bumper rubbers being auctioned at Sotheby’s for a fortune. ??

Hi - have you tried Rose Passion - if I remember they were selling parts to the front wings but not too sure if it is what you need.
