I want to trace out the warning circuit but i don't have a diagram for it. Does anyone know if its the same as the touareg?(which i have a diagram for !) I am assuming it's not as touareg doesn't have PSM. Touareg warning circuit goes back to ABS module I assume it's very similar for Cayenne. Any help with where the plugs are located etc before I start pulling of plastic cover etc greatly accepted. I have a pads workshop warning and found a break in the loom on the front RHS , having repaired the break I still have the warning, so i need to go through and check till I find what's up. Also if anyone knows where i can find the warning on PST2 That would help. Not been able to find it in any menu so far

Replying to my own question. I went and bought a download of the wiring. The pad wear signal goes directly to the instrument cluster and can be found on Pin 7 plug B white and red wire . The other end of the chain is a ground connection near the left rear light. So the signal is pulled low until a wear sensor goes open circuit or the wiring loom breaks ! The sensors are linked in a series chain.

There is a software fault on these, when a fault is stored sometimes it stays in the instrument cluster memory and wont clear itself even using a diagnostic, the answer is to pull fuse 40 for the instrument panel in the fusebox on the front passenger side end of the dashboard, then replace and see if fault has cleared.
