Oulton Park RS Day 2019......FULLY BOOKED

I don’t have an RS, but I did enjoy my first RS day last year as a means to ’losing my Porsche track day cherry’.

Really looking forward to a confirmed date for 2019 - MSV track day vouchers September birthday present at the ready and on standby.... 😉👍🏻🏎🏎🏎😁

Booked 🏎👍🏻

Hopefully I’ll be quicker than I was this year and won’t be overtaken by everything.... 🤔😉😁
Good Luck J.... I'm not doing it next year but will probably be there watching. Are you holding the CR flag?

Thats a shame Andy - thought you were planning to go, change of heart?

Mines ‘only’ an S Andy - I just remember enviously watching the phalanx of 6 Cayman Rs keep passing me every time I ventured onto the tack at this year’s event.

Was great fun fun watching you guys ‘dogfighting’ together 😁🏎👍🏻

Hopefully Kev's new cup will be there but this time with the wheel bolts torqued up correctly. [;)]

Was Kevin the fella with the red GT4 at the 2018 day? I passengered in it for some laps, was great fun.

Any chance I could dump my overnight bag in your garage again please Steve - they’d all gone when I booked my place.

Ill supply biscuits in payment for some floor space 😉👍🏻

Cheers, Jason

Hi Jason, Kevin has a white Cayman R. The red GT4 owner could have been Ian, Darren or Steve. Quite common those red GT4s! No problem with putting stuff in our garages again.

Cheers Steve

Thanks Steve.

I had some passenger laps in a red GT4 that I’m sure was owned by a chap called Kevin Furber...🤔 (or have I got the gent’s Christian name wrong?).

Mark me down on your ‘dance card’ for some passenger laps in your ‘yellow peril’ Steve - I need to see how it’s properly done this year 😉👍🏻

If anyone want's my place, I have paid, but I won't be driving this year.

Please email andy(dot)tims(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk

Unfortunately I need to cancel my booking. MSV won't refund but they will happily make a name change to the booking FOC. Let me know if you want to take my slot asap. Cost will be the face value of £199.

Steve,

I'll be there but in the CR, I took the decision to put the car back to 90s livery which means all white, the job has slipped as always and the bumpers wont be back on for next week, here's a taster of how it will look later this year, the driver is Joakim Birgersson at Avus in the inaugural Carrera Cup 1990.

Really looking forward to this, like a monkey with a new banana 😁

Cars been off the road since ACE cafe New Year’s eve meet, and am itching to get back in her. Currently at Porschacare being ’fettled’ by Matt - nothing major, just some Goodridge SS braided brake hoses and ATE Typ 200 fluid and Millers nanotech oil, as well

MOT and general all round check

over.

My hope is, the better braking will give me confidence to go faster. 🤔👍🏻

And if that doesn’t work then my newly painted gloss-black rear side-vent grilles (a la Cayman R style) must be good for at least 15bhp (each!) 😉😃

LOL, at least I would then I would have a pic of me in a race suit :)

I'll be along to sign-on late a.m. but will be there, playing in Manchester the night before and it'll be 0230 by the time I get the gear packed away then I've got to get home - think I've got a garage booked so please make use of it!
