What's the concensus on new batteries?

Hi All,

My 993 has been locked away most of the summer, whilst I was drinking too much wine and eating too many baguettes avec la fromage de belle france.

Despite being on a battery keeper (cheap halfords effort should have bought a CTEK?) it struggled into life this AM.

So I'm thinking a new battery is the order of the day, the current one is at least 10 years old (when I bought the car).

So which is best? Bosch or Enduroline? I've been looking at www.Tayna.co.uk

Does anyone have recent knowledge?

TIA

Gerry

BTW I'm out at Donnington this Saturday if anyone fancies pit-crew duty?

Hi Gerry. I've mostly always used a Bosch S3 007 in my turbo. The car is a daily driver, well when it has a gearbox it is (!), actually have an update on that which I'll put in the right thread. I don't use any kind of additional charger and the car can be left 2 weeks and it still fires up no bother.
