Air temperature display and fuel gauge.

I have just had my air con radiators replaced. Since getting the car back the air temperature display reads -- --

My fuel gauge has now also failed. I just filled up and it still shows nearly empty.

Could all three things related? Should I ask the garage to sort all of the problems?

Thank you.....

Roy

Welcome Roy!

They will have removed the front PU (bumper) to replace the condensers, and may have disturbed the outside air temperature sensor which is in the PU.

Is it a C4, Turbo, or GT3? They all have the same "saddle" tank, and you need over 19 litres of fuel to be added if you fill from empty. The level sensor does not read the bottom 1/4 (ish) of the tank, and it needs 19+ litres to reset the gauge.

Can't help on first issue, but second Richard on fuel. If it's registered low/empty, previously, it has to be filled to re-register it has fuel. You mention you did fill up, so assume to capacity?
