997.1 Turbo - New Tyres

I have presently "Michelin Super Sport" tyres on my 2008 Turbo, the time has come to replace them. The Michelin Pilot Sort Cup 2 are recommended but I have read great reviews on the "Michelin Pilot Sport 4s". Been told they are not N rated, but on the Michelin site that they are approved by Porsche on the 2018 911? Has anyone tried them, should I stick to the Pilot Sport Cup 2? All comments welcomed

I agree with Clive, I have Cup2s and I wouldn't recommend them as a daily driver tyre, they aren't good in the rain, or cold, and very bad in standing water, but fantastic on track.

Thank you both for the reply. Does the fact of not having N rated tyres affect in any way any insurance claim? If we exclude the MPSC2, what other choice is there? The Bridgestone or Pirelli, had some Pzero in the past and though very nice did not think they were as good as the MSS which I presently have...

Rodney is quite right. If they're round and legal, insurance claims won't be an issue.
However, if you have Porsche extended warranty, it may be problematic because you need to have 'N' rated tyres fitted in order to pass 111 point annual inspection.
I liked Bridgestone Potenza RE050A on my previous 997 TTS
Regards,

Clive
