'Tuning Forks'

Had my car serviced a couple weeks ago and clean bill of health. They did suggest replacing the 'tuning forks', they said also known as 'Longitudinal control arms' in the near future/next service though. I looked up in the tech section and found a useful guide about replacing the 'forked control arms'. I'm assuming these are the same thing. Can anyone confirm? I think I might DIY based on the write-up...
 
I saw these the other day and also the bare coffin arms with the polybush ready to go in.

have you tried them yourself, is the quality ok?
