June Club Night - Newcastle Area Run Down?

Going to be 3 of us heading down together from Newcastle to June’s club meet. Leaving Gosforth at 18:00 aiming to arrive at Teesside just before 19:00.

Anyone else fancy a run down together - meet at Washington services to leave at 18:20?

Might be a bit early for us as our dog has to have her insulin injection.

A word of warning though - if you are planning on turning off the A1 at Bradbury onto the A689 then immediately turning right before the services going through Mordon, Great Stainton & Sadberge to get onto the A66 they‘ve just resurfaced stretches of that link road. We went down that road on Saturday to get to Porsche Teesside’s 70th bash and it spoilt the fun - might have been swept up by now but just to let you know.

Yup - came back that way on Saturday and achieved a far better mpg than I usually do on that road!

Will probably do A689 then A177 to the A66 unless I happen get down that way with work tomorrow and see if the road is better.

Sally and I will try to meet you at the services. Just depends on how much washing up there is to do.
