Latest version of PCM3.1

Dear all,

Apologies if this has been covered before but I am really struggling to find what the last/most upto date version of the PCM3.1 software is for my 997 gen2 C4S. It has the extended nav if that make a difference.

I am paying Porsche to update it but want to check they are putting the most upto date one in. I was told somewhere that the PCM3.1 will accept the most current discs/software being used in the 991.1/2 but I am not sure how reliable this is.

Any help appreciated.

I think the latest version is 4.76
You may be disappointed if expecting the map data to be "up to date". Porsche always seem to be at least 2 years behind TomTom/Garmin etc.

Hi Rhys,

Please do let us know what you think once it's been upgraded. I'm thinking of having it done on my 997.2 turbo but I'm not sure if it's really worth it. I usually use Google Maps.

Out of interest, what were you quoted by Porsche?

Simon

The latest map update is 04/2015 for PCM3.0 and PCM3.1.

The 997.2 was fitted with PCM3.0, and the latest firmware version is 2.24, although I have heard that 2.25 has been released.

V4.76 is for PCM3.1, if the original was V4.xx and V3.43 if the original was 3.xx. It is all very confusing.
