On Saturday I took the CS.1 for a drive.
Headed out from Stratford Upon Avon, my destination was somewhere in Wales!
I went across country on the A46 to Evesham and then Tewkesbury. Took the M5 North and on to the M50 (to south to Wales)
At the end of the M50, it started to become fun......the A40 to Monmouth, Abergavenny, (things now started to get a bit twisty) to Crickhowell, Brecon (bypass) and on to Llandovery (fast and flowing with plenty of 3rd and 4th gear action).
Here I ventured on to the A482 to Llampeter (twisty and highly enjoyable, roads very grippy with plenty of twisty undulations and 2nd gear exists from tight corners) and finally stopped for a cuppa tea at the seaside town of Aberaeron 4 hrs after setting off from home.
As I supped away I reflected on what had been an amazing morning. The traffic was almost non existant, the roads had amazing amounts of grip, the corners tight but consistent and the car, well, what adjective shall I use - sublime, awesome, responsive, fun, nimble, addictive.
From Aberaeron I headed north on the A487 to Aberystwyth and then east on the A44.............totally brilliant. Back to Worcester, and then home the A422 to Stratford!!!
What a day, brilliant roads and most of all what a car........the Cayman S.
