Yorkshire Dales Tour starts this weekend

Some 26 crews from Macan Register are setting off today for the Yorkshire Dales Tours this weekend.

We wish them well with fine weather, good roads and plenty of fuel! [:)]

It all kicks off with a luncheon today and a scenic drive to the tour base in Austwick. Saturday is planned as an all-day outing with a brief light luncheon halt and evening dinner. For those real enthusiasts amongst them, there is a pre breakfast ‘Dawn Raid’ leaving early on Sunday morning, then following breakfast, the main Sunday morning drive takes them to the lunch stop at Gibbon Bridge. Some have opted for a stay over on Monday, so Sunday afternoon will continue with a drive through the Bowland Forest.

Interestingly, R14 also has a tour on in the same region this weekend. Maybe they could all meet up for a friendly bit of PCGB banter. :ROFLMAO:

It would have been to catch up with them somewhere, i gather they are having lunch at the Stonehouse hotel Hawes where we are staying, but unfortunately we will be out on our drive then.

So Mike sends greetings from the sunny Yorkshire Dales. Yesterday's tour included a trip over to Stump Cross Caverns!

Today's trip incudes a drive over to Ribblehead Viaduct for photo opportunity, then on to Tan Hill followed by a luncheon at the Stone House near Hawes- maybe give the R14 guys a wave while there.

Mike reports the local filling station took on a fuel delivery yesterday, so hopefully some should be left for us later today. Fingers are crossed!!

Looks lovely. Sadly, I think there's a lot of the wet stuff on the way later today! Still, can't think of a better car to be in if it's chucking it down.[:)]
 
was a wonderful week-end. No problems getting fuel.
i can’t seem to post pictures here. (I got them all on google)
