Ah! Makes sense. I had a little go in the RPM one at Oulton Park, nice little car, very accessible, and I think it will make for tight racing. I think the RPM rental idea is great, I was even tempted to dip my hand in, as I could imagine the racing being a lot of fun.

As you say stakes are lower than racing a 911.

I was tempted too as sounds like great value without the pain but decided that if I do It I want to be all in with the car and drive every round.

 
Definitely the right choice Lee, you'll love it for sure.

On the topic of mileage, I think on a road car (so RSL etc), it makes a difference, and less on the race cars (cup cars and clubsports). Personally I dont get too hung up on it. But then mine has done 60k miles. You need to work out if you want to use it or not. [:D]
