Hi
Have had a letter from Porsche today saying my 2010 Cayenne diesel has to go in for reprogramming as this model has been found to "deviate from regulatory requirements" German transport authority type approval ??
Second part of the letter seems to say that after reprogramming the shift points in sport and sport plus will be "updated" where if there are no dynamic driving requirements the shift characteristics return to lower shifting speeds. This seems to be saying that it will drop out of sport mode automatically (presumable to satisfy emissions?) with what seems to me to be a seemingly obvious impact on performance.
Has anyone else had this letter - any thoughts? I am minded not to take it in.
Best
Craig
