Got to love this poor guys optimism......

£2300 for a turbo engine??????

Is it gold plated ??????

probably not but if youve got a 944t with scored bores ,what do you do if theres no others up for sale

I keep seeing people asking if they can fit s2 or turbo engines to earlier 44's ,this is driving up the price
of a decent secondhand engine

That's ridiculous!!

You'd think he'd do the compression test etc BEFORE the sale to prove it's a good engine. It still wouldn't warrant that price though

We bought Boxster ABS pump from DVB/Steve for son's project 951. 80£ shipped to Finland was quite OK price.

I bought a fair amount of stuff off DVB when they were based in the bomb-proof bean factory. Steve was usually quite expensive, but Jason could be relied upon to almost give it away if you caught him at the right time.

Many of their prices now are comical, though. I was quoted £1,000 (+VAT!) for early style brown leather fron seats and they werent even in reasonable condition. At the time far better trim sold on eBay for under £200. Even if their prices were relaibly competitive then the buying experience is better avoided.

Buying through eBay is probably the best way of dealing with them, on the odd occasion where they have alright kit at an alright price.

I've never used them but can totally understand why you stopped Simon. There are so many people just trying to rip people off out there. I can think of another Porsche Breaker who very often advertises parts on E-bay for more than the dealer charges for new parts.
It's up to us to expose and boycott these characters.
