This is the big event of the year for R18. There will be a large display area for those cars who are booked on. A Jacob's Join for food and drinks. A Show and Shine competitors' favourite concours. The R18 Race Centre will be there providing the usual facilities.
Upward of 150 car clubs at the event. International model flying displays. Usually there is a fairground and a huge trade village selling things from pots and pans to clothing.
The event is held at RAF Woodvale near Southport. Large flat grassy area using the runways for parking. Check out http://www.woodvale-rally.org.uk/ for details. (Want to book your car onto the R18 stand, see the application form that came with your PP).
Cheers,

Cheers,

Are we going to see your proper Porsche or is it the Volkswagen again?[:-][:-] Is Woodvale close enough to bring the 964 out ? That is the question?[8|]

Volkswagen made it home on Sunday with no problems what so ever.
Sorry Craig, proper Porsche doesn't tow the caravan very well so it is pure American muscle at Woodvale - Jeep Cherokee.
Sure you can have lamb chops on the Jacob's Join as long as you bring them. But cold lamb chops isn't tasty at all. Do you know of anyone that sells decent chicken legs?

Cheers,

Craig, No oven I'm afraid and the generator isn't man enough for the microwave. You could always get Ben to cook them the day before please if he can stay awake long enough. [:)]

Cheers,

Steve,
The cars won't be meeting at the ex Little Thief but on the car park of a pub, the Fox Cub. It is the same roundabout that the Little Thief was on. Hopefully David Baker will be stood on the roundabout at which you have to turn nearly 180º and go down a road a couple of hundred yards. If memory serves me correctly you can't see the pub from the main road, apart from the roof that is.
I would offer to meet up with you on the Sunday morning (I'm in Cleveleys) but I shall be going down to Woodvale on the Saturday morning with the R18 Race Centre.
Cheers,
