Just a plug to let you know R18 (Lancs and Cumbria) have their main event of the year at RAF Woodvale (near Southport) next Sunday August 6th. If you want to display your car please contact David Baker (RO) - details in Porschefile.
Everyone welcome, come and say hello.
Cheers,

Fred was kind enough to travel all the way from Blackpool at the weekend to support our Raby Castle event, to show our appreciation if you have a spare day over the weekend this sounds like a great show why not travel over and wave the flag for the north east and support R18. Unfortunately it is to short notice for me to get the time off work but if our members want to travel I am sure arrangements could be made on this thread.

Thanks Fred

Hi Fred
We had a good chat at Raby, seeing as I was on 'car parking duty', and my car was next to yours in the concours. Unfortunately it's too soon and too short notice for me as well, but I'll be looking out for it in next year's calendar, as it sounds like a good event. Hope the day goes well for you
Regards
Alan Burton

Hello Alan,
Yes it was a good day at Raby. Hopefully next year will see a bit more inter-region activity. I am going to propose that the various regions main events (concours, rallies) are put onto the adjoining regions calendars, also try and get some central admin point to ensure that events (both within the club and external) don't clash with regional ones. It was a pity that both Silverstone and TIPEC were on the same weekend as the R3 rally. These events take a lot of planning so to lose potential attendees is a shame.
See you next year if not before.
Cheers,
