Thanks for the info David. To assist with arrangements, any idea what time we will finish at on Sunday?

Rob,
The event finishes about 16:00 with a spectactular flying display with loads of planes in the air. (usually a simulated bombing raid).
The taking down of the marquee and the clearing up, etc takes a bit of time, last year because a lot of people just left a small number of us got away about 19:00.
So this is a plea to all who are going please don't just drive off and leave all the work for others to do.
Cheers,

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but if you are attending please bring mugs (or cups if you are posh!) for your coffee. Preferably ones that are of little value so if lost or broken isn't going to spoil a family heirloom.[:)] These are much safer than flimsy plastic cups and they hold more.
Cheers

[:)]Now be fair,Fred-these evil pernicious rumours can damage a man's reputation.Living next door,so to speak and able to drive out the "back" door may mean that I could imbibe a little but as for drinking, that's another matter.
I believe you are going to look after our 924S over Saturday(I will be over to help with the Tent) so that I can bring the 964 on Sunday.See you there.[:D]
ORIGINAL: Fred Hindle

Rumour has it you'll drink to anything![:)]

Cheers,

Hello Colin,
Please ensure that the 924S has plenty of petrol in it as there is a nice tarmac runway which will probably do for speed trials![:)]
Can I pinch bits off yours that need replacing on mine? I can always blame it on the scallys and sell you replacement items afterwards.[:)]
Cheers,

Fred, not that I've told her but suddenly my wife wants to use the 924 on Saturday and yet thinks it would be better to leave the 964 overnight-because of the disparity in value I would rather you trash the 924 but Irene has a deep affection for the "s";it was her second Porsche-I think I am going to remove the throttle pedal and secretly mark all the parts.

Not a problem Colin. I could do with some bits for the 964 anyway.
Strangely enough, I have the very same secret markings on my car as well.
Don't worry about the throttle, we'll just use a piece of string just tort enough to prevent the rev limiter from cutting in.[:)]
See you on Saturday, are you bringing that retrobate son of yours on Sunday?

Would that "tort" piece of string be above the law?[8|] I hope Nick will be coming with his family;it gives me an excuse to go on the fairground rides. Also ,I might rebadge the Beemer as a Porsche and bring that, all this worrying talk about missing parts![:(]
Does "retrobate" mean he's a misbehaved lover of Jaguar S-types?

Hello David,
i am going to woodvale as it's on the doorstep !! I can bring my Cayman S in Black..... but don't have a porsche T shirt hope to see you there...... i may even join the convoy if allowed not a club member yet !! regards Tony
